This is your opportunity to make an impact across the marketing function, from our digital marketing and social media to our events, brand and copywriting. You are already a talented and experienced marketing executive who is now seeking to develop in every aspect of your career.

Working directly with the marketing team leader and your marketing colleagues, you’ll be super organised and love to engage with others across our business in support of the marketing team. Your writing has a creative flair and you will like nothing more than to draft copy for all channels whether it is social media or thought pieces and PR articles.

You’ll be a team player, who will need to wear many hats and have the ability to contribute across every area of the marketing team. Superb organisation skills and the ability to ensure the team around you are on track too.  Our new marketing executive will need plenty of drive, creativity and enthusiasm to expertly spin the various plates that create the marketing mix and ensure that our marketing strategy is well executed.


  • Use your natural flair for writing and copywriting across all channels to bring the Equilibrium brand to life and engage all those who read it.
  • Work with our digital content manager to deliver our content programme, including the creation, collation and organisation of our content.
  • Support in delivering our marketing plan by working closely with the marketing team leader and your fellow marketing team colleagues.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of our marketing operations functions, from building emails and webpages to ordering print and preparing for events.
  • Support with the preparation, delivery and follow up of our annual series of events for clients and prospects.
  • Have a specific focus on delivering our social media strategy including updates and posts, liaising with agencies for support.
  • Be the first port of call for those requiring marketing support and materials across the business.
  • Liaise with teams across the business including our client mangers, investment team and financial advisers, on behalf of marketing.
  • Prepare regular insight and reports for marketing and new business.

Skills required:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced, professional environment, preferably agency.
  • Outstanding project management skills to manage schedules and deadlines within programmes and campaigns.
  • Hands on experience across marketing disciplines including copywriting, digital marketing, social media, design and PR.
  • Proven editorial and proof-reading skills with a good command of the English language.
  • Great people skills.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to getting things done.
  • Huge amounts of integrity, resilience, flexibility and very comfortable with change.
  • A genuinely nice person to be around, positive, motivated and passionate.

Key qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related communications field or relevant experience.
  • An understanding of the importance of creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets our marketing objectives.
  • Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language.
  • Extremely computer literate, especially with how to write, interpret, and edit HTML scripts.
  • Good written communication skills and an ability to read copy in English.
  • Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Basic technical knowledge of MS Office and WordPress.
  • Expertise in all major business software applications (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.).
