Top tips for a festive team Christmas – regardless of the pandemic!
With various restrictions causing chaos for many people, a festive Christmas with your team might feel out of reach – but it’s not!
Here are just some of the things that we’re doing at Equilibrium to make sure our team have holly jolly Christmas. Why not incorporate some into your workplace festivities?
12 days of Christmas
We’re giving away 12 prizes to the team – a random name generator has been created and each day from the 1st to the 16th December we’ll be hosting a live team event where our Head of Culture will spin the wheel and then send out the gift to winner. The gifts range from a £50 John Lewis Voucher to a Lush bath bomb to a bottle of festive bleach!
Does anyone in your company have a certain talent or special skill that they could share with the team? Perhaps they could teach a language class or how to make a mean lasagne? We’ve started hosting masterclasses to encourage the team to learn some new skills whilst having a good old catch up.
The classic – a handwritten card
One easy way to remind people that you care about them is to send them a Christmas card. It’s the little things!
A Christmas quiz!
Why not host a virtual quiz for the whole team to get together, have a laugh and test their Christmas knowledge! We’d highly recommend the Kahoot app for this.
Virtual secret santa
For an afternoon of hilarity, why not host a virtual secret santa? The whole team has sent gifts into the office which have been numbered. Hosted by our Managing Partner and Head of Culture, the team will all virtually get together in their Christmas jumpers to choose a number and find out what their gift is!
Everyone loves a raffle! Why not raise some money for a good cause by raffling off a hamper full of goodies?
